CFX_FileReadLn was built to overcome the problems related to CFFILE when reading text files.
As stated in the Cold Fusion Documentation, CFFILE has the following downfalls:
reads the entire file into a single CF variable
may crash the CF Server when reading very huge files
CFX_FileReadLn instead:
reads any textual files line-by-line and puts lines into a CF query object
works with files of any size without performance or stability problems
is incredibly fast: up to 22,2 Mb/sec.

CFMEncrypt is actually a stand alone utility application that makes it easy and intuitive to encrypt CFM pages. You can set a source and a target folder, then encrypt a single file, multiple selectable files, and entire folder or recursively encrypt an entire application including sub-folders. We have even included the ability to move non CFM pages such as gif, jpg, pdf, etc. during the encryption process. This is one utility that no Cold Fusion developer should be without.
